We aren’t gamers unless it’s FIFA 2016, EA Sports Basketball, Football or Hockey, Grand Theft, Ghost Recon… OK I guess a bit but it comes with a guilty conscious. Getting to test put LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was nothing but pure fun! This will be an addition to the gamers list of games to play and possibly game of the year 2016.
Graphics 5+, gameplay 5+, storyline 5+, ease of play 5+.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is launching next week, June 28th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC.
The night started off by us entering the TD Comfort Clubhouse which sits comfortably behind home-plate. The clubhouse was decked out with ‘play stations’ equipped with, well, PlayStation 4s. Each ‘play station’ had 2 controllers so each demo of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens was able to be played cooperatively. When we sat down in the booth to play our demo we were greeted by the newest Star Wars toys provided by Toys R’ Us.
Warner Brothers welcomed us and gave us a nice speech about why we were there and let us know that it was the 10th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars: The Original Trilogy. After all the formalities were out of the way he introduced the guests of honor, the new Chief Toy Officer for Toys R’ Us, Emile Burbidge, and Pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays, R.A. Dickey.
